Fall was my grandmother Whitey's(Violet) favorite time of year. She passed away eleven years ago. I miss her. I was about seven when my grandpa Duke(Edward) died, and even though I didn't get the chance to know him as an adult, I have such fond memories of him.

2nd photo-my grandfather had contracted tuberculosis in the war. He doesn't look very well in this photo. My grandmother was a few months pregnant here with my dad
and was quarantined after she had him. She wasn't allowed to see him for something like ten days because of the health risks.
3rd photo-Grandpa Duke, he had the "bad boy" image down I think.
